Filling GST Annual return for the Financial year 2017-18
GST Forms:
Note; basically these three forms are filled on or before 31stdec of the year subsequent to the relevant year.
Note 2; there will be a late fees as well as penalty if delays in filling returns of these formfor or before 30thjune for the FY 2017-18.
GST Forms:
- GSRT 9 ; it will be filled by the normal tax payers in the form GSTR 9 for the financial year 2017 - 18 on or before June 30th 2019 .
- GSTR 9A ; it is filled by the composition taxpayers in the form of GSTR9A for the financial year 2017 - 18 on or before June 30th 2019.
- GSTR9C ; it is filled by the taxpayers whose turnover is or above 2cr . It is a reconciliation statement between the annual return in GSTR9 and the figures as per the annual audited report shows in the same financial year of the tax payers. It is preapare by the chatererd accountant or cost accountant and if any difference arises between the two reports then they'll report it along with the reason. A taxpayers has to fill GSTR9 before filling GSTR 9C ,it is fill for the financial year 2017 - 18 on or before June 30th 2019.

- GSTR10; It is filled with in three months from the date of cancellation /surrender or date of cancellation order .this is called final return .
I am a businessman having turnover of Rs. 30 lacs. a year. As my turnover is below Rs. 40 lacs., should I file GST Annual Return? Regards, Amar.
ReplyDeleteGST annual return is mandatory for all tax payers who registered under GST. It is filled on or before 31stdec of the year subsequent to the relevant year.for The finanancial FY 2017-18 government has extended it's date to June 30th of this year.where as you are not liable for audit as your transaction is below 2cr ,so you should fill GSTR 9 if you are a normal tax payer or GSTR 9A if you are a composition tax payer and you are not liable for GSTR9C . So fill before due date or you will give penalty and late fees
