How to claim TDS credit received

How to claim TDS credit received

  •  Go to GST login portal
  • Login by using user name and password
  • Go to service tab after login
  • From there click on the return tab
  • From return tab click on TDS and TCS credit received
  • After clicking there's appears three tab  financial year,return filling period and search
  • Select the financial year as well as return filling period from the drop-down list and click on the search
  • TDS And TCS credit received tile will appear
Note; if you have no TDS or TCS on that period  from GSTR7/8 filling of nill return of TDS and TCS not required.

However if you have then you have to follow these steps
After TDS and TCS credit received tile comes click on it
Inside it you see four more tiles Inform of auto drafted naming as
  • TDS credit received: its details are auto populated from GSTR7 of all the deductors
  • Amendment to TDS credit received: any amendment later made to the TDS credit received details by the deductors.
  • TCS credit received: TCS credit received details are Auto populated from the form GSTR 8 of all the collectors.
  • Amendment to TCS credit received: any amendment later made to the TCS credit received details by the collectors.


Note: inside all these tiles/tables there are data's  along with two options to choose

1 .Accept
2. Reject

If you have received TDS then click on the titles 
TDS credit received
If you find the data's that are auto populated from GSTR7 correct then  select the data's and click on the Accept

After that comes back and see the data's are showing in the TDS  credit received  correctly
Then goes to proceed to file and summit 
And after  that it ask you for an otp give the otp correctly and fill you form
The TDS will directly goes to your cash leadger .



And if you reject then also you fill the same way. And you will amendment the correct data in next return period by accept or recject from

Amendment to TDS credit received.
